Volkswagen Surprises with Mini Camper
German auto giant Volkswagen has unveiled the world's smallest camper van, based on its legendary ID.Buzz. This miniature replica, scaled down to 1:87, can not only drive, but also recharge itself!
The mini-van is driving around the model town of Knuffingen at the famous Miniatur Wunderland museum in Hamburg. It took more than 200 hours of painstaking work and engineering to create.

This tiny model not only drives and lights up, but also has a smart auto-charging system. When the battery level is low, it drives itself to the charging station. Charging up to 80% takes only 30 minutes, and the model connects to the power source through its mirrors!
The mini-Buzz is powered by a 4V micromotor. The main components are located in the trailer and on the roof rack.
Volkswagen emphasizes that this miniature model is inspired by the original ID.Buzz, which covered more than 125,000 km in 41 countries as part of the #BULLILOVEstories project. This toy is a symbol of how future technologies can be implemented in real life.
