The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant (UAZ) has temporarily suspended production of its legendary Hunter SUVs. This was reported by the Avtopotok Telegram channel, citing its sources.

According to the channel, production has been suspended for a month, but this is not related to any crisis or layoffs.

As sources explained, the Hunters will be assembled in a separate section of the plant. Reconstruction is currently underway and upgrades are planned. It is assumed that production will be stopped for another two months, after which the "goats" will be released again.

Changes in palette

At the same time, it became known that UAZ has reduced the color range of the Hunters. Now the car can only be ordered in white, khaki or black. Dark green and dark blue metallic have been removed from the list.

The special edition "Expedition" will still be available in bright orange.
