CSKA beat Zenit in first match of VTB final
Moscow's CSKA began the VTB United League final series with a triumph, defeating Zenit in St. Petersburg with a score of 82:80.
The army team started off confidently, winning the first quarter with a score of 30:13, but Zenit was able to reduce the gap by the end of the match.
The top scorer of the game was Zenit's Dwayne Bacon, who scored 28 points. CSKA's Tony Jequiri scored 19 points.
The second match of the final series, which is played up to four victories, will take place on Thursday at Zenit’s home court.
