US President Donald Trump has spoken out against a trade deal with the European Union, saying the EU has "used" the US. Trump stressed that the US has already reached successful trade deals with the UK and China, but the situation with the EU is different.

"They have treated us wrong. They have banded together to take advantage of us... We have signed a great deal with the UK, and we have other deals that are almost done. We have signed a deal with China. We have incredible deals. But the EU is different, and their goal was not to hurt us directly, but to take advantage of us. And that will not happen again," Trump said.
