Another festival took place in Tomsk Festival of the Axe – 2025, which brought together masters of wood carving and simply lovers of beauty. One of the most spectacular events was Speed carving or, as it is also called, "Mad Saw".
Speed carving: wooden sculptures in 30 minutes
The competition was attended by ten masters, who were to 30 minutes saw a wooden sculpture from a single log. It's not an easy task, but for real professionals such time constraints only add to the excitement.
