Niva Sport has become stronger: reinforced rear suspension

Almost immediately after its market launch, Niva Sport encountered an unpleasant situation. The first owners of SUVs noticed that the trailing arms of the rear suspension were bending when driving off-road. Since the first buyers included popular bloggers Academeg and Combat Crew, this problem quickly received wide publicity in the media.

AVTOVAZ was forced to recall the cars produced and replace the suspension arms with reinforced ones.

Off-road reinforcement

Now it has become known that all Niva Sport cars are equipped with special strong rear suspension arms with a welded amplifier. Such cars have already appeared at dealers, the Avtopotok Telegram channel reports.

New color for the classic Niva

Along with the suspension improvements, a new color, “Rally,” has been prepared for the special version of the classic Niva – golden metallic with a matte surface.

Technical specifications

Niva Sport is equipped with a 1.6-liter 122-horsepower engine from Granta Sport. The maximum speed of the SUV reaches 162 km / h, acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h takes 11.8 seconds.
