Joel's return in The Last of Us?

The creators of the popular series “The Last of Us” based on the game of the same name do not rule out the possibility of the return of the main character Joel.

In an interview with DTF, Nelson, one of the creators of the series, said: "Some things need to be left behind the scenes so that the audience can fill in the blanks and put together the full picture. Of course, sometimes we reveal those things if they are important to the story we are trying to tell. So, never say never."

This comment may mean that the possibility of Joel appearing in future seasons of the show still exists.
