H5: Fast, comfortable and stylish sedan
Firstly, Alexander Morozov noted the stylish design and luxurious interior of the H5 sedan. The model is not inferior in size and interior space to European premium sedans.
— For a car almost five meters long, finding a decent design is not an easy task. But the manufacturer HONGQI managed to do it. The balance of design and size turned out to be almost ideal, — Morozov noted. —
An interesting solution is the Black Edition without chrome. By the way, most manufacturers have similar versions with a delay of several years, but HONGQI has appeared quite quickly and is better implemented than its competitors.
The H5's interior is comfortable for passengers of all sizes. The seats are large and supportive, and there's plenty of legroom and luggage space.
— The H5 has good filling in terms of dynamics and traction, — said Morozov. — This sedan has the same engine as the HS5 crossover — 340 Newtons. For Russian users, the horsepower was reduced so that owners do not overpay on taxes. The torque is very good. I would say that the H5 is one of the fastest cars with an automatic transmission. It drives smoothly, dynamically, and at the same time it is well controlled, which is important.
The expert also praised the H5 for its decent exhaust system and convenient multimedia system, easy to use. The cabin also has physical buttons for quick adjustment of basic functions, which is very convenient.
— The main thing that the car gives to its owner is a sense of confidence, a sense of balance and comfort. It turned out to be a truly worthy competitor to Japanese and European premium sedans.
HS5 New: Restyling was a success
HS5 New is an updated version of the popular crossover. The design has become more interesting and bright, with clear lines that are attractive to the Russian audience. Morozov believes that the restyling has been beneficial.
- HONGQI definitely has its own face, which many manufacturers do not have. In my opinion, the restyling was beneficial. The car began to shine with completely different colors, - the expert noted.
In technical terms, the HS5 New received the same engine and 8-speed automatic transmission as the previous version. The interior retained sufficient space for rear passengers.
Morozov named the shock absorber settings as the most noticeable improvement.
— Engineers from Germany and Rolls-Royce designer Giles Taylor worked on the model. The result is an interesting product. This car is perfect for a family that values space, comfort in the cabin and quality materials. There is no need to “improve it” — for example, improve the sound insulation — the manufacturer has already taken into account all the needs of users, — says Alexander. — The controls are dynamic, the interior is a modern classic, everything is great with the winter option. Both the driver and passengers will enjoy the ride.
