Chita resident Yulia Solodukhina conquered "Let's Get Married"
47-year-old resident of Chita Yulia Solodukhina became a participant in the popular program "Let's Get Married" on Channel One. She shared her impressions of the filming with a correspondent of "Chita.Ru"
Yulia is a former justice lieutenant colonel with almost 25 years of police experience. After retiring, she changed several professions: she worked at a zoo and even got a job at a coffee shop. But true love never came to her. The woman got divorced several years ago and decided to try her hand at finding a husband on television.
Before filming, Yulia had not seen her potential groom Maxim. On the show, she fought for his heart along with two other girls from the Moscow region and Kirov. In the end, the groom chose another participant, but Yulia was not upset. She wished her happiness and admitted that she was happy for her.
“I wasn’t upset that the groom didn’t choose me, because to each his own,” says Yulia.
Yulia admitted that she really enjoyed being on screen. She admits that she felt nervous and scared, because she was sitting at the table with famous TV presenters Larisa Guzeeva and Roza Syabitova. But overall, she considers her trip to Moscow to participate in the program a real miracle.
“I’m a simple girl who lives in KSK, who travels by minibus, raises two children, works in the confectionery “Vkusno s polzoy” — and here I am in Moscow, on Channel One.
I believe in miracles, and perhaps in our city or somewhere else there is a person who will see the program and want to meet me. Yes, my heart is free, and despite my age, I believe that everything is still ahead,” Yulia shares.
Yulia said that she hadn't told anyone about her trip, not even her children: her son is 18 and her daughter is 9. She was afraid that everything would turn out to be a lie. But in the end, everything went great.
"I am an adventurer, I believe in good people and I knew: I will not get lost in a strange city. I enjoyed every minute of this exciting journey. I met people on the plane, and now I share my story with everyone: with cake and coffee buyers, and with passers-by, and with taxi drivers. Everyone is very happy to ask for a link to the program and say: "You are brave and desperate!" After all, not everyone is able to declare themselves so openly," says Yulia.
