Valentina Ugolkova, a 17-year-old girl from Pavlovsky Posad, told her story of how she had to face the responsibility for life, love and difficult relationships at a young age. It all started with a joke: a pregnancy test bought for a prank unexpectedly showed two stripes. So Valentina became a participant in the reality show "Pregnant at 16", which has been gathering millions of viewers for many years.
A childhood full of experiences
Valentina admitted that her childhood was not easy. Her parents often quarreled, and the girl often felt lonely and unhappy. That is why she decided that she would definitely give her child all the love and tenderness that she herself did not receive in childhood.
Meeting with Timofey: a spark of love
Secretly from her family, Valentina dated 25-year-old Timofey, who had come from Kaliningrad for a shift. Despite the age difference, the couple felt happy. "We loved each other, but for society it seemed like something abnormal," says Valentina.
A prank that got out of control
The couple had their first sexual encounter a month and a half after they met. They immediately gave up contraceptives. Seven weeks later, Valentina saw two stripes on the test. “That was the prank that got out of control,” she admits.
Fear and family support
Valentina was very worried about her mother's reaction, because there had already been a similar experience in the family. The girl's older sister, Masha, also gave birth at 16. But surprisingly, Timofey was happy about the news of the pregnancy and promised to be responsible. Valentina's mother, realizing that Timofey would want to take his pregnant daughter to his dorm, suggested that they move to her two-room apartment.
Trials and Return to Life
In the fifth month of pregnancy, Valentina learned about Timofey's ex-girlfriend. The ex began writing to him, and this caused Valentina fear and anxiety. Soon Timofey disappeared, and Valentina looked for him everywhere. Finally, he was found, but he could not remember anything.
Second chance
After the show, Valentina faced criticism of Timofey, who accused him of drug addiction. But Valentina said that Timofey gave up his bad habit after her pregnancy and became a caring father.
Happiness in the eyes of a young mother
When Valentina saw her daughter, incredible love shone in her eyes. She admitted that Timofey turned out to be a wonderful dad and was always ready to help.
Future together
Valentina and Timofey plan to marry as soon as Valentina turns 18. “I told him, ‘Yes,’” she says.
