A Tagil resident won a girl's heart on the show "Let's Get Married"

Anton Flegontov, 32, who works at Uralvagonzavod, decided to overcome his loneliness and went on the popular TV show "Let's Get Married." He never thought he would become a participant in such a project, but after talking to his sister, he agreed to participate.

"At first I thought it was crazy and refused," Anton told the agency "Between the Lines." "But my sister persuaded me to try, maybe it would work. I didn't know how it all happened, but I decided that I wouldn't regret the lost chance."

An unexpected invitation and the search for love

Anton went to Novorossiysk, where his potential bride, 24-year-old student Anastasia, was waiting for him. The filming was fun, but the process itself turned out to be unpredictable.

“I didn’t always understand what was happening and what needed to be done,” Anton admitted.

The happy ending that didn't work out

At the end of the program, Anastasia chose Anton. But fate decreed otherwise. The guy admitted that after filming, he and Anastasia became friends.

"We realized that I'm not her person, and she's not mine. I have my own life, she has hers. She's getting married soon," Anton said.

Ratings and experience

Many of Anton's acquaintances criticized his participation in the program, considering it strange or unnecessary. But he himself is sure that it was an important experience.

"What should I have done? Refuse to participate and sit at home? It was better to take advantage of the chance than to regret it later," the young man noted.
